Meetings
Echidnas meets every other Wednesday night in Richardson, TX. Parents and students must both attend. Parents are there to support the overall group as well as their own child. Sorry, no siblings.
6:30-7:00 pm—Gathering and socialization. Students are welcome to bring games or visit. No electronic devices, please. Bring dinner with you if you wish.
7:00 – 8:00 pm— The Teen Group and The Young Adult Group meet separately with moderators to work on relevant social skills. Parents meet separately to discuss business and topics of interest.
8:00 – 8:30 pm— Clean up and goodbye
Outings
Monthly social activities are planned with the interest of the students in mind. The cost of each social activity is paid for by each individual family. The Teen Group and the Young Adult Group parents plan the outing. Sometime we all go together and sometimes the groups plan separate events. Most of time the outing are family oriented events.
